Finding a home
It couldn’t be easier to find a home with us! Simply create an account by clicking the Create an Account button and follow the steps to complete your housing application. Properties which are available are then advertised for you to choose which ones you are interested in. Providing you meet the eligibility requirements for that property (such as number of bedrooms, pets, age requirements etc.) you can then register your interest by placing a bid. This process is called bidding.
Getting started
Before starting your housing application, gather the following information to make the process quick and easy:
- An email address which you have access to and is safe to contact you on. If you do not have an email address, please click here for guidance on how to create one.
- Names, dates of birth and national insurance numbers (ages 16 or above) for anyone wishing to move with you.
- Full details of where you and all other applicants have lived for the past 5 years. Dates, post codes and landlord contact details will be required.
Re-registration for current B-with-us users.
If you already have a B-with-us account and are looking to re-register your details on the new system, simply gather the details (of the main applicant) below to re-register, complete your application and your account will be automatically approved retaining your banding and effective date.
- Your housing application ID (the number you use to log in)
- The main applicant's full name as it appears on your current B-with-us application. (Please note that if you enter the joint applicants details this process will not work)
- The main applicant's date of birth.
Once you have created your account, ensure the main applicant's details are entered in the “My profile” section of your account. When you reach the Housing register application you will be asked to enter your previous B-with-us log in reference. Simply complete the rest of the housing register application, save and confirm your details, and your application will be active within minutes!
