How It Works - Bidding
There are two ways in which properties can be advertised on B-with-us.
B-with-us Lancashire/Calderdale
This covers properties from all partner landlords of the B-with-us partnership in the specified area. You must have an assessed local connection to Lancashire and/or Calderdale to be eligible to bid on these properties.
Click here to view the criteria for having a local connection.
Bid positions for properties advertised via B-with-us Lancashire / B-with-us Calderdale are determined by band first, then by effective date, then by registration date.

Homes For All
Homes For All covers some Together Housing properties across Lancashire, Calderdale and Yorkshire & Humber.
Bid positions for properties advertised via Homes For All are determined on a First come First Served basis, prioritising applicants with a housing need (meaning any housing need: Bands 1-4 are prioritised equally), then applicants with no housing need (Band Five).
For Homes For All, Bands 1-4 will be classed as an equal housing need, and Band 5 will equal no housing need.
The advert type can be identified by the banner shown underneath the property photo on each advert on the Properties page
We recommend viewing adverts in full before placing your bid, to ensure you meet all requirements and to check that the property and area are suitable for you.
You must ensure that bids are only placed on properties that you are interested in, in areas suitable to you. You are only permitted three unreasonable refusals of properties, within a 12-month period, before your application will be suspended for 6 months.
